The 2021 NC Leo State Convention, which was scheduled for Feb. 19-21 at Camp Dogwood, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. More details will be released at the quarterly meeting of the Multiple District 31 Council of Governors on Saturday, Feb. 13. The meeting will be broadcast via Zoom.

MD-31 Council Chairperson Michael H. Schwartz has announced that due to COVID-19 and state health mandates, the quarterly meeting of the Council of Governors, scheduled for Feb. 12-13, 2021, will be virtual and not an in-person event. The quarterly NCLI Board of Directors’ meeting, scheduled for Feb. 14, will also be virtual. A schedule of meetings will be announced soon.

On Tuesday, NC Governor Roy Cooper issued an executive order that further restricts attendance at meetings due to COVID-19. This revised order is in effect until Dec. 4. Therefore, the NC Council of Governors and the leadership of North Carolina Lions, Inc., have announced that all meetings that were scheduled to be held Nov. 13-15 at Camp Dogwood will only be conducted via Zoom. An email will be sent out with the link(s) needed to participate in the meetings. The COG, NCLI Board of Directors and the Promotions Committee meetings will all be held on Saturday, Nov. 14. All reservations made to attend the meetings at Camp Dogwood are cancelled.
